Prior to the installation, we had a few rather high readings on a radon test. I bought a testing unit before his work, to identify where I thought the primary issues might have been in our home. Our sump pump had an open top which contributed significantly to the issue. But in the end, Schan showed me that an active system, that actually pulled the radon out from under our slab and foundation in our basement, was the way to go in addition to sealing up the sump and covering all our crawl spaces with 10 ml plastic. Following the installation, I am happy to say our numbers are now all in the low 1-2 range in the most challenging locations in our basement. In the house in general, the are below 1.
